I went to Pennsylvania today to help my oldest grandson celebrate his graduation from high school. While I was away, the mice, well you know the rest. Yvonne graciously held down the fort while I was gone and Gail took over the duties of official photographer.

Darwin’s Power Puff Girls inspired project is based on the character called Bubbles.

Gerry finished her blue and yellow washcloth, pictured on the phone and started a pretty stitch in the beige.

Peggy’s pullover sweater has a few more inches since last week.

Athena is so proud of her blanket! Just look at that smile!!!

Gail’s Wildflowers beanie is a few inches longer too. Even though she likes Benjamin Matthews hat patterns, this one is not one of her favorites.

Pat’s DASHA blanket is really showing off those pretty colors!

She put it aside long enough to try her hand at crocheting a pair of baby mittens.

With a little help from Debra F, she was able to make some progress.

Ceil worked on her Touch of Kindness Shawl. I seem to recall her saying it was a pretty easy pattern to knit.

Edgar is pleased with his progress on his corner to corner blanket.

And Deb is knitting washcloths using the same corner to corner pattern on a smaller scale.

Rena knitted a cowl with pretty colors. The pattern was from the book 60 Quick Cowls.

Yvonne is still adding to her butter yellow blanket.

Charlene’s Throwback Pixie Hat is at about the halfway mark. It is knitted up to the top and then divided with half the stitches on one needle and half on the other at which point they are grafted together.

Tomasa knitted a side to side child’s cardigan in a pretty peach colored yarn.

It looks like an easy project for someone who maybe never knitted a sweater before.

Pam is having fun making her 1898 Hats.

Jim’s project is running low on pink yarn so he might be adding a new color soon.

Bob finally ran out of that pretty pink yarn and needs to decide what to add next.

On Wednesday, Gail and some of her friends made an appointment to go shopping for yarn from our friend Terri of Whole Knit ‘n Caboodle. Terri is a very talented independent yarn dyer. They had a lovely time shopping at Terri’s home studio and then spent some time being served tea by Terri’s husband and having a little time to knit and visit. This September Terri will have her annual studio sale. Check out her website to find out when. You will love her yarns!

It’s been a long day and tomorrow I’m taking my grandson shopping for dorm room supplies so he’ll be ready for college in the fall which means I need to get some sleep. So have a great week and I’ll be back next Friday. Thank you again to Yvonne and Gail for your expert help! Keep those needles clicking!
