I was away to help my grandson celebrate receiving two academic awards as he prepares to graduate from high school. In my absence, Yvonne, Maria, and Pam were in charge of holding down the fort and took pictures so I could keep our blog up to date.

It looks like Debra F is working on a 2x2 ribbed cap. That dark green is a good neutral color for anyone to choose.

Bob still has some orange yarn to use up on his blanket.

And it looks like Alison and Gerry are adding squares to their crochet collection.

Tina finished the Owlie Sleep Sack and it's looking like

she is almost done with the matching hat.

Maria has come a long way on her corner to corner blanket in a cheery yellow.

Do you remember last week when I introduced you to Margareta? Well, I'm sorry I missed her this week. She and Pam chatted while they worked.

And Edgar looks engrossed in his project.

Tina, Ceil, and Maggie were hard at work too. One thing I have noticed is that everyone always has a smile on their face. That's why I love this group!

Athena and Jim were in deep concentration.

Yvonne worked on her bright yellow blanket too.

Here is a close up of the basket weave pattern she's knitting. Her yarn and color choice show up the stitch definition nicely.

By the looks of things it seemed to be a quiet afternoon...

with everyone working diligently on their projects.

They all seemed to get along fine without me. LOL!

Except my Fozzie! I felt very guilty leaving him overnight and tried to apologize for my absence.

My neighbor stopped in to give him a couple of feedings while I was gone. She said he was waiting in front of his dish when she came in as though he had never left the spot. He must have heard the key in the lock and immediately took his place in case there was any doubt in Maureen's mind what her duties were. LOL! I think Fozzie and I are still friends but...

he is currently staring at me from across the room because it is 5:30PM and I haven't served his dinner yet. Gotta go! Have a great week and keep those needles clicking!
