Sounds like we should be giving birth! LOL! If we did we would certainly be prepared with all the lovely items the Stitch Angels made.

We had an assembly line working to add labels, sort, and inventory everything that was made. In order from left to right, Yvonne, Janna, Barbara, and Gail made sure every item had our Stitch Angel label and laundering instructions attached.

We collected 187 items which required sorting and my team was swift and efficient. Debra was in charge of sorting the sets.

There were 17 Amigurumi toys that were both knitted and crocheted. We had quite the collection of little critters to amuse the babies...and some adults too, I suspect.

Margaret Tarpinian, a friend of Ceil's on the left, sent us four sweater and hat sets that were beautifully knitted and just "stinkin' adorable"!

The count of items is as follows:

4 pairs of baby mittens, 14 pairs of baby socks and booties, 27 sets of blanket and hats, sweaters and hats, and hats and socks. We had 38 hats for both babies and Moms, 7 cowls and shawls, 13 blankets, 7 diaper bags filled with essentials, and 15 sweaters. This came to a grand total of 187 (counting pairs as two because it's twice the knitting!)

And before I leave, I'm proud to show you Keiko with her first knitting project which not only did she design but with Barbara's help, she knitted for the first time! There is a bit of a language barrier but with the help of Google Translate, Keiko was able to understand the steps needed to knit her "Valentine's Mitten" so she can hold hands with her sweetie when it gets cold. Great job Keiko!!!

And great job Stitch Angels! Be proud of what you accomplished and know it will help so many new mothers and their babies. I am grateful for all the time and talent you devoted to our project! You deserve a pat on the back and a day off from knitting before it's time to

Keep those needles clicking!
