Today was the day we prepare all our hand made clothing with labels from the Stitch Angels.
All items are sorted according to the category of type of clothing and then it gets counted. We donated a total of 107 items for the residents of St. Anne Institute in Albany. There were 13 cowls, 13 scarves, 11 pairs of socks, 40 hats, and 7 sets of hats with either mittens or scarves.
Darwin finished the infinity scarf he crocheted last week...
And attached a label making it just in time to be added to the donations.
Athena started a new crochet project while Jim and Bob worked on their blankets.
Barbara shared her progress on the One Chevron Scrap Cowl with Tomasa who was making the same pattern. Gail completed her Festival of Stitches Shawl and Karen started a cowl with a variegated ribbon yarn.
Gerry completed one mitten and started crocheting the partner.
After we made the delivery, some of us stopped in at Emack and Bolio's for an ice cream treat. It hit the right spot on this hot summer day!

Now we are gearing up for the annual yarn bombing in November. We are going to have to work quickly since we don't have the luxury of months and months of time to knit and crochet. So what am I doing lollygagging around?!?!
Gotta grab those needles and get them clicking!
