A quiet day at the library

There were 13 Angels in attendance today, working hard on all their projects. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop at times.

Darwin's crochet project matched his sweatshirt. Bethany picked up her crochet blanket which had a bit of a time off. And Bob concentrated on his knitted blanket.
Cinzia' sister, Donatella, is still visiting from Italy and improving her skills in crochet.

In just one week she learned how to crochet and already made the back section of a summer blouse for herself. Color me very impressed! It must be the excellent teaching she received from her sister.

Meanwhile, Cinzia worked on the sleeves to the pullover sweater she designed for herself. The yarn is a blend of merino wool and polyamide. It's coming along beautifully.

Tomasa started a neat ribbed hat called On the C Train which is available for free on Ravelry. There is also a matching cowl pattern which is free too.

Barbara finished up her hat called Beloved from Tincanknits. It's a very quick project which could be knitted up in a couple of days.

I have one or two more sections of variegated bands to knit before I begin the purple cuff on these socks. Then I'll move on to knitting the afterthought heel, also in purple.

Maria started the next band of color on her cowl which is a combination of stockinette and reverse stockinette.

Gail is working on a Lisa Hannes pattern for sale on Ravelry called Festival of Stitches.

It starts at the middle with these lovely colors and works outward to the ends to form a long rectangle.

Yvonne wasn't happy with her original cloth she was knitting so last week she frogged it and started over.

Our friend and sometime Angel, Cathy, brought us a whole stash of knitting and crochet tools that someone wanted to donate. The knitters and crocheters had a ball choosing which items to add to their bag of tricks. Cathy, please thank the donor and thank you for thinking of us.

Rena put aside her blanket knitting to work on a mock cable hat and mitts with a pretty lilac colored yarn.

And last but not least, Debra started another pair of mittens on her double pointed needles.

That's all for today's session. Have a great week and keep those needles clicking!
